Light + Building was the name of it and was the World Fair for Light and Building Technology. Today it came to an end. 15 of their kind is stretched around the whole world ball. The largest of them could be visited in Frankfurt am Main this week. Huge 16 areas with over 10 halls. 2,714 exhibitors from 55 countries presented their products on the topic of light and building technology and were visited by more than 220,000 trade visitors from 177 countries.
We, too, were there almost every day, strolling from booth to stand and from hall to hall. Half of the visitors and exhibitors were from abroad and the same language was not always spoken. Communication was exciting and took place more than once with your hands and feet.
Of course, we have constantly compared our products with those of others.
Our great strength of maximum light output due to optimal heat dissipation hardly found any competition there. There was industrial lighting with high-power LEDs. However, if we noticed one or the other competing product, it was clear that this is too expensive for the customer. The look of the lights often pleased. But we had to keep wondering who should pay those prices for it. This cannot be profitable for any company.
So our conclusion is that we spent beautiful long days at the Light + Building fair. We’ve seen a lot of novelties and met a lot of great people. We are very much looking forward to working together. But an offer like the one we offer, unfortunately, didn’t occur to us there or thankfully. We will be a guest again in 2020 and look forward to seeing you again!
